Brešca is home to the Church of St. Joseph, a subsidiary church of the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Veli Brgud. Electric Johannus liturgical organs were acquired for the Church of St. Joseph; new liturgical organs were blessed and put into service there.

Traditional bell-ringer processions also pass through the village. The traditional Zvonejski bell-ringer procession connects Zvoneća with Brešca and Zaluki. The Rukavački bell-ringer procession passes through Brešca on its way home and can be seen at Mučićeva ravna.

In Matulji, the Matulji Bell Ringer's Gathering traditionally takes place on Carnival Saturday. Bell-ringer groups that preserve centuries-old customs perform there. The traditional Matulji bell-ringer parade has taken place since 1995. At the event, visitors can enjoy traditional carnival specialties such as homemade sausages, maneštra, goulash and fritule.

Nature and Trails

Breški dol is a sinkhole in Brešca. There, changing shade, humidity, temperature and depth create vegetation zonation. Protection of the area as a botanical reserve has been proposed for approximately 13.19 hectares.

Route 117 is a trail approximately 30 kilometres long with around 560 metres of elevation gain and, at the same time, a cycling loop approximately 30 kilometres long with around 560 metres of elevation gain. As part of a broader landscape route, it passes through Breški dol in Brešca and the protected landscape of Zvonejske Njivi; it also enters the protected landscape of Lisina.
