The traditional women's costume of Male Mune and Vele Mune is a preserved local tradition. It is characterised by a red headscarf and richly dyed lace decorations on the apron, and can be seen during performances by the Mune bell ringers at carnival.

The tradition of the Mune bell ringers involves ringing bells synchronously in pairs and wearing distinctive headgear. This village carnival custom remains open to visitors from outside the area during the carnival season.
