Pasjak: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Above Pasjak, Gradina preserves the remains of a Roman fortification beside the former Tarsatica–Tergeste road. Around 200 metres of walls, two entrance towers and a visible stone threshold have been preserved; the fortification existed around 270 AD.

The Matulji Tourist Board promotes an MTB route called “Antičke utvrde”. It runs from Veli Brgud to the 3rd-century Pasjak fortress and on to Brdce, with views towards the Kvarner Bay and Velebit.

Matulji’s Bike&Taste programme offers visitors guided cycle tours with commentary, combining natural landscapes, cultural heritage and local specialities. The tours are offered in Croatian, English, Italian and German.
