Culture and history

Consuegra de Murera was formerly known as San Pedro de Murera.

The Iglesia de San Pedro is a simple single-nave church with a rectangular chancel built at a higher level, a sacristy attached to the south side and an espadaña standing on the western wall.

The main festivities take place on the weekend closest to 13 June and are dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua.
