The Vil·la romana del Moro displays archaeologically superimposed remains of two Roman villas. The first, Republican villa on the site dates from the middle of the 1st century AD and included, among other things, six rooms that probably belonged to a thermal complex. The villa from the High Imperial period is known to have had a peristyle and a garden enclosed by colonnades. The present-day Església parroquial de Sant Pere Apòstol was begun on 10 March 1677 and consecrated on 4 December 1680.
The former Escola Roig is a stately building in the Modernist style, inaugurated in 1892. The Castell-Palau dels Icart was built approximately between 1565 and 1581. It is considered the only surviving civil Renaissance building in Catalonia constructed as a new-build project.
