La Plana de Mont-Ros stretches along the Flamisell. The Mare de Déu de la Plana sanctuary stands out in La Plana de Mont-Ros. In the villages of the valley, the memory of a hermit who carried the image of the Mare de Déu with him remains alive. He also worked as a healer.

Trails

La Plana de Mont-Ros can be reached via the L-503. The L-503 leads from Senterada via La Pobleta de Bellveí onwards towards Capdella. The Camino de la Plana a Mont-Ros begins in front of the village church. Its first section is paved and lined with pine trees. After leaving La Plana de Mont-Ros, the route to Antist follows a small, shady path. This path is lined with boxwood shrubs. The route to Antist crosses the Flamisell. It then climbs through a woodland area with an impressive oak forest.

In the section before Mont-Ros, the Camino de la Plana a Mont-Ros leads to the Sant Marc hermitage. It then continues to a washhouse. This washhouse has a rest area with tables and benches. The Camino then leads into the village. Route 38b connects La Plana de Mont-Ros with Castell-estaó.

Along the way, several clearly named sections alternate: the starting point is in front of the church, followed by the paved section lined with pine trees and the shady path with boxwood shrubs. The route changes again when it crosses the Flamisell, before the climb through the woodland area with its oak forest leads to the Sant Marc hermitage.

The later waypoints also remain closely connected with the villages. The washhouse, with its rest area of tables and benches, lies before the subsequent path into the village. In addition to the Camino de la Plana a Mont-Ros, Route 38b provides another named connection linking La Plana de Mont-Ros and Castell-estaó.
