The Miquel Martí i Pol literary route is a two-hour walking tour through Roda de Ter, accompanied by professional guides. It combines the poet’s biography with representative texts, readings and the historical context of the post-war period and the Catalan cultural revival.
Literature and Remembrance
Casa Miquel Martí i Pol welcomes small groups by prior appointment. Guided visits to the foundation’s headquarters and the poet’s house are available.
The Fundació Miquel Martí i Pol presents the poet’s life and work in a permanent exhibition. Original documents and objects are on display.
La Blava is an emblematic factory in Roda de Ter. Miquel Martí i Pol worked there as a clerk. The factory inspired his collection of poems “La Fàbrica”.

Archaeology and History
The Museu Arqueològic de l’Esquerda is an archaeological museum at the site. It is dedicated to preserving, researching and interpreting the Iberian and medieval archaeological site of l’Esquerda. The history of the site extends from the 8th century BC to the 14th century AD.
The archaeological site of l’Esquerda was classified by the Generalitat de Catalunya in 2006 as a Bé Cultural d’Interès Nacional (BCIN).
At the l’Esquerda archaeological site, a signposted route leads through all the historical periods of the site. Information panels and reconstructions illustrate Iberian fortifications, roads and workshops.
The medieval areas presented include a church, a cemetery, a square, a granary and smithies. A simple medieval forge has also been reconstructed in the Àrea de Recerca Experimental Arqueològica (ÀREA) at l’Esquerda, where various iron tools can be made.
The present-day Capella del Sòl del Pont was built from 1708 onwards and consecrated in 1719.
Nature and Paths along the River
The botanical walk at l’Esquerda presents the area’s natural vegetation and its development from antiquity to the present day. The Ter surrounds the l’Esquerda peninsula and directly influences the surrounding vegetation.
A les envistes del Ter is a 14 km circular route with little change in elevation. It runs along the Ter between Folgueroles and Roda de Ter on a historic workers’ path.
The Ruta del Gurri is a 12.5 km hiking and cycling route. It begins in the municipality of Roda de Ter and follows the Gurri River upstream towards Vic.
The 31st edition of the Fira del Pescador at Passeig del Ter included fishing competitions, children’s activities and a public walk. The programme featured musical performances and habaneras, as well as gastronomy and an exhibition by specialist vendors.
