A 16th-century farmhouse currently houses the Fundació Tharrats d’Art Gràfic and Pineda’s cultural centre. Recurring traditions include the Sant Jaume gatherings, which have taken place in Pineda de Mar every year since 1979, usually on the last Sunday in May. Nine restaurants in the municipality take part in the XXXII Jornades Gastronòmiques del Bacallà. The summer programme “Estiueja’t” includes 31 free performances at various locations in the municipality from 19 June to 30 August and is open to everyone.
