Discover Olivella: Castle, Garraf and Astronomy

Castell Vell d'Olivella is an old castle, designated as a cultural asset of national interest and documented since 992. The Mirador del Castell Vell has a spiral staircase leading to the highest point of the castle and offers views of Garraf Natural Park. Historical substance and a specific viewpoint come together here in a single setting.

Nature

Garraf Natural Park extends across the municipality of Olivella. Limestone characterises the natural area, as do karst formations including caves, karren fields and shafts. The landscape is therefore not an arbitrary green space, but is defined by clearly named geological formations.

The Observatori Astronòmic del Parc del Garraf is located in the municipality of Olivella, in the former Can Tòfol building next to the facilities of Escola de Natura Can Grau.
