Seira: Hiking, Churches and Dolmens

The GR 15 Senda Prepirenaica long-distance hiking trail passes through Seira. The 100 km route runs from Acumuer to Pont de Suert (Lérida) and is divided into ten stages. This gives an immediate sense of the scale of the route.

History

The surviving church of the Monasterio de San Pedro de Tabernas was built at the end of the 16th century and is the monastery’s only surviving architectural remnant. The Dolmen de Seira is a Bronze Age collective tomb near Seira and is distinguished by its construction from large granite blocks.
