The Iglesia de San Andrés de Satué belongs to the group of Iglesias del Serrablo.

The parish church of Satué is an 11th-century High Romanesque building of the Serrablés group, with a single nave, a short presbytery and a semicircular apse adjoining it.

The Asociación de Amigos de Serrablo and the priest Jesús Auricinea reconstructed the north and west walls, as well as part of the south wall, including the windows of the Iglesia de San Andrés de Satué.

Getting Around

The Serrablo sightseeing route continues north along the road to the turnoff for Satué.

The hiking route from the Santuario de Santa Orosia to Satué follows the PR-HU4 trail and leads to Satué along a steadily descending path.

The Las Margas–Satué circular hike leads to Satué and then passes the church of Satué in the direction of the Ermita de Santa Orosia.

The two routes can be compared for planning purposes according to three characteristics: starting point, direction of travel and connection with the church. This brief distinction keeps the routes separate when you mentally compare different types of hikes. A complete repetition of the routes is not necessary for this; the characteristics mentioned are sufficient as factual guidance for distinguishing between the two trails.
