Holiday apartment in Dolenja Trebuša: Kosmač Trail and Idrijca

The Prosvetno društvo »Justin Kogoj« Dolenja Trebuša was founded in 1912 as the Vodnica reading society. Both names refer to local cultural activities expressed through the history of the association and traditional dances.

A traditional, recurring hiking day takes place on the Kosmač Trail and begins at the cultural centre in Dolenja Trebuša. The announced hike on the Kosmač Trail included a visit to the Kosmač memorial house, refreshments, a simple lunch, live music and a theatre performance. A bus from Tolmin to Dolenja Trebuša and back was also announced for the traditional hiking day.

Mount Lašček is in the surrounding area of Dolenja Trebuša. The three named mountains are therefore each located either in the immediate or the general vicinity of the village.

The Pršjak Waterfall can be reached from Dolenja Trebuša. To get there, follow the road towards Čepovan, pass the church in Dolenja Trebuša and follow the road towards Gorenja Trebuša for approximately 3 km until you reach the signs. The waterfall is accessible on foot. On the return journey to the village of Dolenja Trebuša, a cycling route follows the Trebuščica Valley.
