Embedded in the Eugene Andrew Cernan Memorial Room are a thin segment of the burned heat shield from Apollo 10 dating from 1969 and a piece of the outer skin of Apollo 17. The STOPA monument depicts a lunar dome. Imprints of spacesuit boot prints are embedded in this dome.

The Okruh Vysokou nad Kysucou circular trail begins at the municipal office in Vysoká nad Kysucou. From this starting point, it leads through the settlement of Vrchrieka. It then follows a red-marked hiking trail along the ridge of the Javorníky Mountains towards Semeteš.

Remembrance

Above the municipality are the preserved remains of a Jewish cemetery. These remains are located in Nižný Kelčov above the railway station. The cemetery is one of the last memorial sites commemorating the once numerous Jewish community in Kysuce.
