The Evangelical church in Ábelová was built between 1826 and 1829 and has a Rococo altar from the late 18th century. The cemetery in Ábelová contains stone, relief-carved and polychrome gravestones from the second half of the 19th century. The local architectural heritage also includes wooden log houses with thatched roofs and traditional farmers’ semi-detached houses.
Traditional crafts and clothing are also part of the cultural character of the village. Embroidery was a well-known local tradition in Ábelová. The bell tower in Madačka dates from the late 19th century.
