The Mýtna Water Reservoir covers 38 hectares and is located above Mýtna in the direction of Zvolen. Alder forests grow along the edge of this body of water in the floodplain of the Krivánsky Stream. Culture and Architectural History

Mýtna’s religious heritage centers on the fortified Protestant church. It is listed in the Slovak heritage register and is located in a fortified area on a hill between villages. Inside, a wooden altar and a wooden pulpit from 1772 have been preserved. The fortification includes a wooden Baroque bell tower from the second half of the 18th century with a square ground plan. Traditions

Another facet is found in the local traditions. During the Morena tradition in Mýtna, children carry a traditionally made figure symbolizing winter in a procession to a stream.
