Holiday apartment in Klokoč: educational trail, mineral springs and local history

In the centre of Klokoč, the Park zbojníka Paľa Demikáta leads along an educational trail following in the footsteps of the robber Paľo Demikát from Klokoč. The Jašov-Medokýš, also called Jašova medokýš, emerges in the alluvial deposits of the Jašov stream and is frequently visited by local residents. The outlet of the Medokýš is concreted and protected by a shingle roof.

Culture and history

The Múzeum v starej škole is located in the original rooms of a two-class school. There are school desks, the original blackboard and a wooden floor. The museum also houses ethnographic exhibits with historical relevance, as well as various objects used for different activities in the past century. The preserved municipal bell tower of Klokoč stands in the local cemetery, dates from around 1780 and contains one bell. The Church of the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary of Fatima in Klokoč was originally a funeral home.
