Nörtershausen: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Nature

The Aspeler Bach and Alkener Bach streams have their sources in the Pfaffenheck area. The Alkener Bach flows into the Moselle at Alken. The island of Hatzenporter Werth lies approximately in the surrounding area of Nörtershausen's town centre. The hills of Eichelt and Günders-Berg are also located near the town centre. The Gänsehalsturm viewing point lies approximately in the wider regional surroundings of the town centre.

Culture and History

The ruins of Ehrenburg and Rauschenburg are located roughly near Nörtershausen's town centre. The castles of Liebeneck and Eltz are also situated approximately in the surrounding area of the town centre.

Pfaffenheck was first documented on 1 May 1343. The Pfaffenheck Forest is described as originally being church property.
