Plaidt is a municipality in the Eifel region of the Mayen-Koblenz district in Rhineland-Palatinate. The Nette River flows through the town, where it takes in the Krufter Bach. Plaidt is located 5 km south of Andernach and is home to an information centre for the volcanic park in the Mayen-Koblenz district.
