Ehra-Lessien offers a variety of natural landscapes: towards Wolfsburg there is a moorland landscape, while towards Grußendorf and Boitzenhagen there are coniferous forests and heathland.
The locality consists of the two villages of Ehra and Lessien, with Lessien located two kilometres west of Ehra.
