The historic center of Ribbesbüttel is characterized by the manor house and St. Petri Church; both were mentioned together in 1226. The church was built in its present form in 1595. Those wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Ribbesbüttel can then continue their search for accommodation.

History

A mighty castle once stood on the Ribbesbüttel estate and was surrounded by a moat. A Merian print depicts the castle in Ribbesbüttel, which no longer exists, in 1654. Bruno Löbbecke acquired the estate in 1905; he built the present-day Ribbesbüttel Palace.

St. Petri Church contains tomb slabs dating from the age of the knights; the altarpiece displays twelve carved statues of apostles from the 16th century. The Gothic wooden vault is described as unique in the surrounding area.
