Culture and History
At the entrance to the village stands the Church of Saint-Florent/Saint-Florentin. It was built after 1345 and before 1421 to replace the more distant Church of Saint-Jean. Its single-nave layout, polygonal apse and two side chapels define the building.
The Temple protestant de La Motte d’Aigues is also a single-nave building. It is associated with the strong Protestant presence in the village following the arrival and conversion of the Waldensians at the beginning of the 16th century.
