The Sentier viticole leads through the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and provides information about terroirs, grape varieties, cultivation methods, the characteristics of the wine-growing region and winemaking. Nature
Islon Saint-Luc is designated as a Natura 2000 site and has a discovery trail focusing on the heritage of the Rhône. Information panels explain the ecological and cultural value of this natural area.
Wine and Culture
La Vinothèque offers guided tastings of five wines from different wineries, explaining grape varieties and terroir. It also includes a museum dedicated to the history and expertise of winegrowing and displays the world’s largest collection of tastevins.

History
The Chapelle Saint Théodorit is an 11th-century Romanesque chapel with Byzantine-influenced frescoes of the apostles dating from the 12th century. It has been a protected historic monument since 28 December 1984.
The Grande Fontaine was first mentioned in official records in 1635 and remains a historic meeting place in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Château des Papes was built on the orders of Pope John XXII between 1317 and 1333.
