Culture

The Eglise Saint-Sébastien is a Romanesque church dating from the 12th century. It houses paintings, a ceremonial chair from the 17th century and baptismal fonts made of painted stone from the 17th century.

The Chapelle des Hommes was built in the 14th century by the lords of Agoult as part of the Prieuré Saint-Pierre de Goult. In 1929, it was added to the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. Wall paintings were discovered there during restoration work.

The ruins of the Moulin de Jérusalem were acquired by the Institut géographique national (IGN) in 1947 to establish an astronomy education centre there. The mill was in operation until the end of the 19th century.

Landscape and Nature

The Conservatoire des Terrasses is recognised as a Géosite of the Géoparc du Luberon. The Conservatoire des Terrasses extends across five hectares in a south-facing natural amphitheatre.

The Conservatoire des terrasses de culture is a very easy, one-hour walking route with free access.

The Chemin de la Virginière allows visitors to explore the remarkable Virginière wetland, a natural area classified as an espace naturel sensible. Along the Chemin de la Virginière, some of the 80 recorded bird species can be observed; beaver tracks can also be seen.
