The Château de Montgeoffroy in Mazé was built by Marshal de Contades between 1772 and 1776. The château preserves its historic furnishings from that period. The estate includes a 4-hectare park and formal French gardens.

Nature

The 6-kilometre Au Fil de l'Eau hiking trail is a family-friendly circular route along the banks of the Authion in Mazé. The leisure area serves as a starting point for a picnic in the sun.
Markets
Mazé has a Friday market, which has been held since 2014, as well as a Sunday market. The seasonal selection includes, among other things, strawberries in June and oysters in November.
