Charcé-Saint-Ellier-Sur-Aubance: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Église Saint-Pierre de Charcé was founded in the 10th century. Its single-nave structure with a flat-ended chancel dates from the 13th century and was extended with a side chapel in the 16th century; a second chapel was added on the north side in 1836. The adjoining presbytery dates from the 15th century. The façades and roofs of the enclosed group of buildings comprising the church, presbytery and outbuildings have been listed as historic monuments since 4 May 2001.

The Moulin de Patouillet is one of two surviving post mills among the 200 to 300 post mills that existed in Anjou at the beginning of the 19th century. It was restored and exposed to the wind again in 1984; it has been listed as a historic monument since 28 March 1977.

The Prieuré de Saint-Ellier includes a Romanesque chapel from the 12th century. The Logis de la Bluttière has been listed as a historic monument since 2006. The hamlet of La Moinerie consists of a group of 17th-century residential buildings, while La Sublerie consists of cave dwellings carved into the tuffeau stone. The Dolmen de Beaupréau has also been classified as a historic monument.
