Since 2 August 2002, the Musée de la vigne et du vin d'Anjou has held the French designation “Musée de France”. It currently contains more than 2,000 objects as well as a documentary collection of more than 8,500 items.
History
The first three “gagneries” of Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay were established between 1037 and 1054 as three settlement and agricultural areas, each covering approximately 50 hectares, which were entrusted to colonists for clearing and cultivation. The historic “gagneries” and the paths connecting them continue to shape the landscape of Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay; 900 years later, their traces are still clearly visible in the land register and in aerial photographs.
Wine
Domaine Sauveroy is a family-owned winery in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay with a 26-hectare organically farmed vineyard. The winery is open year-round; visitors are welcomed in the cellar to discover and taste the winery’s wines.

Paths
The unmarked family route Circuit des ardoises presents 12 facets of Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay through 12 slate plaques, from its origins to the end of the 20th century. The Circuit des ardoises can be explored by car, bicycle or on foot.
The 7-kilometre sentier viticole leads on foot through vineyard landscapes and offers insights into the work of winegrowers. It begins at Place des Vignerons near the Musée de la vigne et du vin d'Anjou.
Two mountain bike trails begin in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay and are promoted on the map of the area designated as Espace VTT-FFC des Coteaux du Layon. A mountain bike washing station is available near Camping de la Coudraye.
The Coteau des Martyrs circular route begins and ends in Saint-Lambert-du-Lattay and is 3 kilometres long. It runs around the Hyrôme Valley and includes numerous information boards about the local natural environment and cultural heritage.
Nature
The Hyrôme Valley is considered a deeply incised, wild valley with watermills and windmills.
