Culture and history
The Église Saint-Symphorien is an 11th-century church with an octagonal stone bell tower. The church has a commemorative plaque relating to the mass foundation; it was entered on 14 February 2007 as “inscrit au titre objet”.
The Château de la Maboulière, also known as Château du Bourg-d'Iré, was built in the third quarter of the 19th century for Count Alfred de Falloux; the work is attributed to the architects René Hodé and Cordoin. The complex includes a chapel, and the château is privately owned. The watermill is part of the agricultural ensemble planned by Count Alfred de Falloux, which notably includes the model farm known as “le Domaine”.
The Chapelle du Buron was built in 1724 and is publicly owned.

Landscape
The Verzée crosses or borders the grounds of the Château de la Maboulière. The Château de la Douve, also known as Château de la Turpinière, stands on a hill above the Verzée. It was built at the end of the third quarter of the 19th century by the Angevin architect Bibard; its chapel was added in the 1880s.
Hiking
The Circuit du Bourg-D'Iré is an easy 7.5 km circular hiking trail with a walking time of 1 hour 45 minutes. The circular route starts at the church square.
