Today’s Pont d'Ingrandes is a multi-span suspension bridge measuring between 515 and 545 metres in length. The Cité d'Ingrandes-Le Fresne sur Loire was built on a puddingstone hill that forces the Loire into a 100-degree curve. Since 1996, the Cité d'Ingrandes-Le Fresne sur Loire has been designated as a ZPPAUP protected heritage zone.
