The “Mûrs côté Aubance” circular trail is 7.6 km long and takes around 2 hours and 10 minutes. The “Tour d’Érigné” circular trail is 5.1 km long and takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes. The digital experience trail “En quête de plantes, vertige de la botanique” uses the free Baludik app.
Two longer stages are also connected with Mûrs-Erigné: the sixth stage of the GR®3 from Mûrs-Erigné to Rochefort-sur-Loire is 16.8 km long and is designated as a one-day hike. The fifth stage of the GR® de Pays Coteaux du Layon et de la Loire from Mûrs-Erigné to Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné is 21.3 km long and takes around 5 hours and 20 minutes.

The “Mûrs côté Aubance” circular trail passes through vineyards, forest paths and the rural surroundings near Mûrs-Erigné and its hamlets. The stage of the GR® de Pays Coteaux du Layon et de la Loire from Mûrs-Erigné leads into the Coteaux du Layon wine-growing area and appellation zone.
History and Culture
Port Sablier was a former sand port where the extraction of Loire sand began in the 19th century. The area around Mûrs-Erigné also contains several cultural and historical sites: Le Repaire Urbain is a museum, the Galerie David d'Angers is also a museum, Pignerolles is a château, and the Abbaye Saint-Aubin d'Angers is a historic site.
There is a blockhouse in Mûrs-Erigné that was built in the winter of 1942/1943.
