The trail De pierre et d’eau offers a cultural and historical experience: it leads through Longué-Jumelles to its church, washhouses and river, taking visitors back to the 1880s.
At the Espace Information et Patrimoine, historical objects showcase boules de fort; there is also a video about this traditional game. Visitors can also discover a reconstructed boules de fort court with a clay surface here. The Association “Boule d’Anjou” organises themed days dedicated to boules de fort throughout the year.
Water and Mills
The Promenade des Lavoirs in Parc du Pré aux Grilles runs along the Lathan and passes numerous private washhouses. Also located on the banks of the Lathan in Longué-Jumelles is the Moulin Hydronef, a hydraulic mill.
The fully restored Moulin Hydronef offers an immersive, educational tour. Visitors learn about the operation of hydraulic mechanisms, the history of milling and the importance of renewable energy.
Activities and Places to Visit
The Centre aquatique Philippe Rivain de Longué-Jumelles opened to the public in December 2022. Facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, a learning and wellness pool, a paddling pool, a slide with a black-hole effect and a seasonal splash pad.

The Château de Saumur and the Abbaye de Louroux are located in the area around Longué-Jumelles. Further afield in the region are the Château de la Coutancière, the Château de Baugé, Ile au Than beach and the Château de Montsoreau-Museum of contemporary art park.
