The Église Saint-Médard is dedicated to Saint Médard, the patron saint of farmers and weather.

Renting a holiday apartment in Courtry can form part of your personal travel planning.

Nature

The Promenade régionale de La Dhuis is a 25-kilometre route for pedestrians and cyclists between Le Raincy and Dampmart. Part of the Promenade régionale de La Dhuis belongs to the European Natura 2000 network under the Birds Directive.

Courtry includes the Bois des Cailloux, designated as a protected forest, on the Massif de l’Aulnoye to the north. The Bois Raffeteau in the southeast, also designated as a protected forest, is likewise part of Courtry. The protected and well-maintained covering of the La Dhuis aqueduct forms a long walking promenade that leads to the historic Forêt de Bondy.

Culture

The Église Saint-Médard was built in the 16th century; however, elements of its bell tower indicate that it dates back further, to the 12th to 14th centuries. The church combines a simple Gothic style with Romanesque windows and Renaissance vaults featuring floral decoration.

The Espace culturel Simone Veil houses Courtry’s media library, the intercommunal conservatory and two associations from Courtry.
