The Église Saint-Cyr et Sainte-Julitte has main construction phases dating from the fourth quarter of the 12th century, the first quarter of the 13th century and the 16th century. It has been protected as a Monument historique by a registration order dated 2 February 1990.

The Musée départemental de la Seine-et-Marne documents the history and development of society in the north of the Seine-et-Marne department.
It also preserves the work of Pierre Mac Orlan and his connection with Saint-Cyr-sur-Morin, making both accessible to the public.
The Maison de Pierre Mac Orlan in the hamlet of Archets in Saint-Cyr-sur-Morin conveys the writer’s everyday living environment through a sensory, intimate presentation. The restored Maison retains its narrow staircases, gardens, wall colours, tapestries, furniture arrangement and personal belongings. It bears the “Maisons des Illustres” label.
The Musée des pays de Seine-et-Marne has a garden featuring plants traditionally grown in the Seine-et-Marne department, including ten varieties of willow, as well as an educational garden.
Trails and landscape
Circuit Rando No. 1 is a 6 km-long, approximately two-hour hiking trail rated as easy, with blue-and-yellow markings and a somewhat steep ascent to 200 m. Via the Chemin des Marois, it passes through a very wet area.
The Boucle des sentes du bourg is an easy circular route measuring 3 km and taking approximately 45 minutes. It starts at the town-centre car park, is marked with numbered signs and crosses the Petit Morin via a footbridge.
Townscape and history
The centre of Saint-Cyr-sur-Morin lies on both sides of the Petit Morin. The hamlets are scattered across the slopes formerly covered with vineyards and on the plateaus, along the borders with Saâcy-sur-Marne, Jouarre, Doue and St-Ouen.
Until the interwar period, livestock farming and the production of Brie were among the main activities in Saint-Cyr-sur-Morin.
