The Saint-Quentin church in Passy-sur-Seine is a former priory parish church; historically, it was legally dependent on the Abbey of Cormery near Tours. The altarpiece of the high altar was created between 1614 and 1628 and depicts Catherine de Veelu.

The altarpiece, tabernacle and altar of Saint-Quentin have been protected as historic monuments since 2005. The church was restored in 1995, and its altarpiece and painting were restored in 2006 and 2007.

The choir probably dates from the Middle Ages and was probably connected to a castle complex. Three generations of the Veelu family are also buried in the church; they were lords of Passy from the mid-16th to the end of the 17th century.

The Napoléon III washhouse in Passy-sur-Seine was undergoing restoration. The Saint-Quentin church was formerly open to the public during Heritage Days, for the Mass on 15 August and for concerts held in spring.

Passy-sur-Seine is one of the municipalities included in the “Bassée et plaines adjacentes” Natura 2000 Special Protection Area for birds (FR1112002).

This Natura 2000 area contains an alluvial forest of exceptional importance for Île-de-France, remnants of wet meadows, as well as a network of side channels and wetlands of great ecological interest.
