Montry: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A six-kilometre section of the Aqueduc de la Dhuis runs through the municipalities of Chessy, Coupvray and Montry. The Aqueduc de la Dhuis is an underground water-supply structure built between 1863 and 1865 to provide Paris with drinking water.

The former Notre-Dame de l’Assomption church in Montry was built in 1185 by Simon, Bishop of Meaux. Bismarck and Jules Favre met during the War of 1870 at the Château de la Haute Maison. In 1940, the Château de la Haute Maison became one of the three Allied headquarters.
