Nature
The Les Bruyères de Sainte-Assise regional nature reserve extends across Seine-Port and Boissise-la-Bertrand. It includes forests on acidic soils, wet heaths, pioneer vegetation on annual grasslands and vegetation in oligotrophic ponds. The most recent botanical survey of Les Bruyères de Sainte-Assise recorded 276 plant species.
The Bois de l’Ormeteau is a ZNIEFF in the south of the municipality of Seine-Port. It includes dry sandy areas, two bodies of water and wooded sections along the Seine, and is home to plant species that are rare in the Île-de-France region, as well as rare animal species. Parc de La Chesnaie is home, among other things, to a cedar classified as a “remarkable tree”.
At the end of Rue de Seine there is a large tree-lined lawn that serves as a place of recreation for everyone.
Culture
The Domaine de la Chesnaie has been awarded the designation “Patrimoine d’intérêt régional”. The continental station of “Compagnie Radio France” in Sainte-Assise and the gateway to the Seine-Port nature reserve have also been awarded the designation “Patrimoine d’intérêt régional”.
The Musée de Seine-Port collects postcards, photographs, reproductions of paintings, books and documents about the village and people who have lived or currently live in Seine-Port. It is open on the first Sunday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., except in January and September.
The nave and the former seigneurial chapel of the Église Saint-Sulpice, now the Chapelle de la Vierge, date from the late 12th century. The Chapelle Saint-Louis in the Église Saint-Sulpice was built to house the heart of Philippe d’Orléans; Madame de Montesson was buried there in 1806.
The Sentier Montesson passes by several 18th-century houses in the village. These houses were identified by the association La Sauvegarde de Seine-Port, bear the coat of arms or the number of the House of Orléans, and were built according to precise architectural specifications. A flea market with professional exhibitors takes place on Place Madame de Montesson on the first Sunday of every month, except in January and September; this event has been held there since 1975.

The Saint-Fargeau-Ponthierry–Seine-Port–Cesson Greenway forms part of the Scandibérique, the French section of EuroVelo 3, which connects Trondheim in Norway with Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Sainte Assise Aventure offers courses in Sainte-Assise ranging from the green “Pitchoun” course for ages 3 and up to the black “Adrénaline” course, the highest and most difficult course in the Île-de-France region.
