Culture and history

The Les Crozats site in Uxelles was originally a farm, was converted into a holiday camp by the parish of the Cordeliers of Lons-le-Saunier in 1951, and became a tourist accommodation centre in 2000. The chapel of Uxelles, dedicated to Saint John Before the Latin Gate, was built in 1629. The Chapel of Saint-Jean-Porte-Latine was blessed on 7 September 1666 by Pierre-Antoine de Grammont, Archbishop of Besançon.
