Linguizzetta: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Culture

The Roman baptistery had a cross-shaped basin with four stairways, each consisting of two steps. A baptistery and an initial church were built there in the 4th century. The Roman baptistery is located not far from the present-day shore of the Marines de Bravone.

The Church of Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul houses objects classified as historic monuments. The historic site of Couvent d'Alesani is also located in the vicinity of Linguizzetta, as is the A Scupiccia church. The Fort Génois de Matra Museum is located in the wider region surrounding Linguizzetta; the ruins of the Chapelle San Giovanni are also found there.

Nature

The Estuaire de la Bravona area, designated as a type 1 continental ZNIEFF, lies north of the Marine de Bravone and south of the Étang de Stagnolu. It includes the mouth of the Bravona and the adjoining shores upstream as far as the N 198. The area is subject to the pre-emption rights of the Conservatoire de l'Espace Littoral and is protected under the coastal law Loi Littoral.

The mountain Mont Sant'Appiano, the Pointe de Mufuncello peak, the Pointe de Campana peak and the Mont Picciolo mountain are located in the immediate vicinity of Linguizzetta.

Coast and trails

The Plage Communale de Bravone, also known as Linguizzetta beach, lies between the Étang du Stagnolu and the beach of the Marines de Bravone.

The Bravone market, offering products from local producers and artisans from Oriente, was announced for Thursdays from 11 June to 3 September.
