Culture and History

The Église de la Sainte-Trinité in Aregno was built towards the end of the 11th century during the Pisan occupation. Since 11 August 1883, it has been fully classified as a historic monument. The façade of the Église de la Trinité features granite blocks in three colours: beige, green and reddish brown. Inside the Église de la Trinité are two 15th-century frescoes.

In the heart of Aregno stands the Eglise Paroissiale Saint-Antoine Abbé, a Baroque church. It has a tall ochre-coloured bell tower with three levels of arcades and houses protected furnishings and works of art, including the painting La Mort de saint François-Xavier and a pulpit.
