In the courtyard in front of Vigoulant Town Hall, two holy water stoups from the vanished church are visible. The former church was dedicated to Saint Blaise (Saint-Blaise), the patron saint of farmers.

Culture and History

The former use of mills is also one of the visible traces of the village: Moulin-Retord is a former grain mill on the Vigoulant mill circuit. The ruins of Moulin-Foulon in Vigoulant are associated with the former processing of hemp.

Trails

Vigoulant has marked trails in the Sentiers de Petite Randonnée category. The marked Sentier des Maîtres Sonneurs can be walked in Vigoulant. In addition, the circular hiking trail Circuit pédestre n° 76 forms an approximately 8.3 km loop around Vigoulant. Its starting point is in the car park by the pond opposite the town hall.
