Reuilly: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
In Reuilly, architectural heritage, river landscapes, digital museum collections and wine come together.
Culture and architecture
The Église du prieuré Saint-Denis preserves a 12th-century crypt. The Château de la Ferté is partly located in Reuilly, and the Théols River runs right through its moats. The Château de l'Ormeteau is a rectangular building with four flanking towers. The Micro-Folie at the Maison de Reuilly offers three so-called “national” digital museum collections featuring a large number of digitised works from French museums; the Maison also offers several events introducing visitors to the wines of the AOC Reuilly.
Nature and trails
The Prairies de l'Arnon feature small, specially created paths through the wooded areas and along the Arnon and the “Rivière Neuve”. The area can be visited all year round. The “Les vignes de Reuilly et les prairies de l'Arnon” circular trail is 6 km long and leads from the vineyards of Reuilly to the Prairies de l'Arnon.
Wine
For Reuilly AOP wines, Sauvignon is used for white wines, Pinot noir for red wines, and Pinot noir and Pinot gris for rosé wines.
Surrounding area
Near Reuilly, the Abbaye Saint-Martin de Massay is a historic site. In the wider region surrounding Reuilly are the Musée de l'Hospice Saint-Roch, a museum, the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Beauvoir, a historic site, and the Abbaye de La Prée, a historic site.
