Luant lies at the gateway to the Brenne. The “Aux portes de la Brenne” hiking trail No. 34 is 16.5 kilometres long and starts in Luant at the village square, on the side of the town hall.

Culture
The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Luant dates from the 15th century and was rebuilt in the 19th century. Its original side chapel has a door with a basket-handle arch, above which is a damaged coat of arms. The church also has oak choir stalls dating from the 16th century.
