Néons-sur-Creuse combines an impressive sacred history with life along the Creuse. The Église Saint-Vincent dates from the 12th to the 15th century and includes a northern seigneurial chapel with three bays and Late Gothic rib vaults.

Culture

The altar of the Église Saint-Vincent contains five reused polychrome stone reliefs from the 15th century depicting scenes from the Passion. The Château de Néons is a private 15th-century estate; its entrance is flanked by two round, tile-roofed towers and leads into a courtyard. René Dutrochet was born at the Château de Néons in 1776; he is regarded as one of the founders of biology in France.

The Bruno Giraud ceramics studio has been located in Néons-sur-Creuse since 2005.

Nature and Activities

Excursions on foot, by bicycle and on horseback are possible in Néons-sur-Creuse. Fishing is possible on the Creuse in Néons-sur-Creuse. On the banks of the Creuse, a picnic and leisure area in green surroundings welcomes visitors in good weather.
