La Chaussée-D'ivry: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

On the banks of the Eure, amid a preserved natural heritage, lie La Chaussée-d'Ivry and its hamlets of Nantilly and Les Gâtines Rouges. Between riverside landscapes, protected natural areas, historic buildings, and routes for walking and cycling, the area offers a diverse range of experiences.

Nature and Trails

The Côte de Nantilly is characterised by highly diverse vegetation and is designated as a Natura 2000 site. It is suitable for nature walks for those interested in fauna and flora, as well as for families.

One specific route through the surrounding area is the “La Chaussée-d'Ivry – Le cheval blanc” circular trail. The hiking route is 6.7 kilometres long and starts at the church car park.

Culture and History

The Église Saint-Blaise in La Chaussée-d'Ivry has origins dating mainly back to the 13th century and was first mentioned in 1215. Its bell tower and staircase tower have been partially protected as historic monuments since 13 July 1926.

Cycling Route and Golf

For cycling, the 25-kilometre “Découverte d'Anet, La Chaussée d'Ivry, Guainville, Gilles et Oulins” route is available. From La Chaussée-d'Ivry towards Oulins, it uses a cycle path.

The Golf Parc Robert Hersant can be played all year round. It is situated by bodies of water surrounded by, or overlooked by, hills covered with deciduous trees.

Local Produce

The Ferme des Gâtines Rouges sells fresh, home-grown vegetables directly on site and offers seasonal, locally grown produce. From June to October, the farm opened its doors.
