Trédion: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The megalithic necropolis of Coëby in Trédion is an archaeological site where two dolmens are currently being studied.

Culture

At the Coëby necropolis, information panels among the trees provide guidance for independent visits. The Château de Trédion was probably built in the 14th century; a document from 1427 already confirms the existence of the Château de Trédion manor house. The Château de Trédion includes, among other features, a park, a pond, and a bridge. The Clos du Roy is a 4,000 m² French garden surrounded by walls and equipped with water basins.

Hiking

The Circuit de Villeneuve is an easy, 7.5-kilometre route starting from Place du 19 Mars 1962; on foot, it takes approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes. The Circuit de Villeneuve passes through the Bois de la Claie and along the Claie River. On the return journey to Trédion, it follows the GR 38 trail markings. Other hiking trails around Trédion are approximately 4.82 to 18.6 kilometres long.

History

The historic site of Menhirs Babouin et Babouine is located in the immediate vicinity of Trédion. The La Loge au Loup menhir is a small menhir west of a covered passage. The historic site of Largoet Castle and the ancient site of Menhir de Ranion are located around Trédion. Château de Meudon is located in the wider surrounding region of Trédion.
