Saint-Tugdual: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Saint-Tugdual preserves, with the Saint-Guen Chapel, a structure dating from 1540. Together with its ossuary, it was listed as a historic monument by decree of 5 July 1927.

Culture

The present-day Saint-Tugdual church dates from 1962. Near the church stands the cross from the former cemetery. Its four sides are sculpted with scenes from the life of Christ: his baptism, his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane, the scourging, and the carrying of the cross. The cross strongly resembles the Calvary at Locuon in Ploërdut.

History

The Manoir de Kerminizy was built in the 16th century and is visible from the road. Among other events, it hosts activities organised by local associations, such as hikes and gatherings of vintage vehicles.

Getting around

Attelages de Tro Coët regularly organise carriage rides and offer them by appointment. The Saint Guen carriage ride is a half-day tour. It starts at the Saint Guen Chapel or at Attelages du Tro Coët; those starting at Attelages should inform them in advance.

The Circuit de Saint-Guen follows wooded paths. The Saint Guen carriage ride follows sunken lanes.
