Landscape and trails

The 14-hectare Étang du Moulin Neuf is located in the municipality of Malansac and borders Pluherlin and Rochefort-en-Terre. A walking trail of around 3 kilometres leads around the Étang and is suitable for pushchairs.

The 20-kilometre Circuit des Ardoisières can be explored on foot or by mountain bike and offers views of the Grées, the slate hills overlooking the Arz Valley. The Arz Valley is part of a protected Natura 2000 site.

Activities

Moulin Neuf Aventures offers canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding and pedal boating. The Ferme équestre Equit’Anime offers themed courses and activities as well as walks around the farm. It specialises in riding activities for children aged from 18 months to 8 years.

Culture and history

The Place des Fours à Pots represents Malansac’s ceramic heritage. The Église Notre-Dame bears the years 1694 and 1858.

The grounds of the Château de la Grationnaye can be visited freely and without a guide. Guided tours of the chapel and dovecote are possible with the owner.

Local products

The Marché à la ferme in Malansac sells produce from an organic market garden and local organic producers, including vegetables, fruit, cheese from cows, sheep and goats, bread, galettes, cakes, other confectionery, herbal teas, meat, unpackaged goods and salt.

Mobility

At Malansac railway station, there are two lockable bicycle boxes that can be used without a reservation with your own padlock or bicycle lock.
