Nature

The Cairn des Grays is a megalithic site in a natural coastal meadow in Billiers.

Trails

The Circuit des Mégalithes passes by two megalithic sites classified as historic monuments. The hike is 11 kilometres long, rated as very easy, and takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The path near Plage des Granges is accessible with a pushchair or by bicycle. There is a hiking trail at Plage des Amoureux. At low tide, the rocks become visible there; fishing on foot in the intertidal zone or along the coast is possible.

Culture

The Belle de Vilaine in Pen Lan is a replica, created in 1994, of a covered chaloupe with a rounded stern and openwork railing dating from 1887, and is classified as a “Bateau d’Intérêt National”. A trip on the Belle de Vilaine is possible for members of the association.

The Phare de Billiers was built in 1882 and is 18 metres high.

History

The Dolmen du Crapaud in Les Granges in Billiers was classified as a historic monument by decree of 1 March 1978. At the site of the former Prières Cistercian abbey, an information panel points out the existing surrounding wall and tower.
