Plescop: Holiday apartments and houses

Plescop offers a notable cultural event with Roue Waroch: since 1996, the event has been organised every February in Plescop by the Petra Neue association, combining contemporary Breton music with music from around the world. Les Transats is a summer cultural programme held in Plescop for more than ten years. The individual evenings take place at different venues and provide an opportunity to discover the town’s cultural heritage.

Culture and history

The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Lézurgan has been listed as a historic monument since 5 February 1951. Its roof frame is shaped like an upturned ship’s hull and dates back to 1455.

The Église Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens contains four stone and marble altarpieces, as well as a stone Pietà from the 15th century, which was transferred from Lézurgan. The Chapelle Saint-Barthélémy in Gusquel was completely rebuilt in 1901 and preserves a monolithic altar table.

The Allée couverte at Palastre in Cogueler-Neguignan was listed as a historic monument on 8 January 1970. A local legend is associated with the Chapelle Saint-Hamon: according to the local legend, the inhabitants of Plescop refused Saint Hamon a cup of milk. The Chapelle Saint-Hamon is traditionally dated to 1456.

The Fontaine Saint-Simon is located near the Parc de l’Hermine in the heart of the Coulée Verte.

Landscape and trails

Plescop offers varied landscapes and wooded areas for walkers and sports enthusiasts. The many trails in Plescop enable children and adults to discover the local fauna and flora.

The Circuit Tour du Bourg is an easy 7-kilometre circular route. The Circuit Vannes–Sainte-Anne-d’Auray is 19 kilometres long in total, 9 kilometres of which run through Plescop.

The Plescop route in the “Les Trésors du Morbihan” app takes an estimated 1.5 hours.
