Locminé: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Locminé showcases a distinctive combination of sport, relaxation and water at Aqua'Lud: the facilities include a 250 m² sports pool with four lanes for recreational and competitive swimming, a relaxation area with a spa, two saunas and a hammam, as well as an 80-metre water slide.

History and Sacred Sites

The Notre-Dame-du-Plasker Chapel was rebuilt in the 16th century and houses a polychrome altarpiece from the 17th century. On 16 October 1930, it was added to the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. The chapel can be visited near the Church of Saint-Sauveur.

The Church of Saint-Sauveur was rebuilt in 1975 behind the preserved old granite façades. The present-day Church of Saint-Sauveur and Saint-Colomban preserves the façade and the Saint-Colomban Chapel of a 16th-century building. The church also contains the Saint-Colomban stained-glass window, which is classified as protected.

Locminé's Maillette has its own local legacy: it was used for wooden clogs and shoes in the region and was immortalised in a song known throughout France.

Market and Local Products

Locminé's market takes place year-round every Thursday morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Thursday market in Locminé is held around the Church of Saint-Sauveur and the Notre-Dame-du-Plasker Chapel. It includes food as well as local and regional products.

Nature and Outdoor Activities

In the Bois d'Amour area, a wooden bridge crosses the former bed of the pond and runs close to the wetlands. A viewpoint has been set up there. An adventure course has also been created for thrill-seekers aged 12 and over.

Cinema and Local Life

Le Club cinema is run by an association and has had digital projection since March 2010.
