Anse du Stole is a 600-metre-long family beach of fine sand, surrounded by rocks. It is fully accessible to people with physical, motor and sensory disabilities and faces south.
Beach and Coast
Lomener’s small beach is located in a former Breton fishing port opposite the island of Groix. Lomener Beach is connected to the GR®34 coastal hiking trail and is mainly used by early-morning swimmers and divers.
Culture and History
In the 19th century, the port of Lomener had significant maritime activity, including sardine fishing boats, sardine presses and canneries. A former cannery building was later converted into the Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Garde. There, the altar table rests on structures representing fish baskets.
Walks and Cycling Routes
The “Lomener” cycling circuit is easy, 4 km long and takes 30 minutes. It follows minor roads behind the coast. The heritage walk in Lomener is accessible to everyone and includes a puzzle to solve along the route.
